    Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service - Dr. Martin Luther King said, "Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve." Join thousands of Americans across the country who are honoring the life and work of Dr. King by serving their community on the King holiday.

    Saint Paul Winter Carnival - Over one hundred years of history and winter fun reign supreme over the city of Saint Paul each year from the last weekend in January through the first weekend in February for the celebration of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival!

    Festival of Nations - One of the nation's largest and longest-running multi-ethnic events, the Festival of Nations annually showcases Minnesota's ethnic diversity, celebrates ethnic traditions and encourages ethnic understanding in late April - early May.

    Minnesota Dance Festival - Minnesota's foremost gathering of dance artists.

    St. Paul Art Crawl - Take part in this self-guided tour of almost 200 artists' studios in the downtown neighborhood. Local restaurants, coffeehouses and galleries will also be open for visitors.  This way cool event happens every April and October.

    Art-A-Whirl - A three day celebration of the arts sponsored by the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association

    Festival of Nations - One of the nation's largest and longest-running multi-ethnic events, the Festival of Nations annually showcases Minnesota's ethnic diversity, celebrates ethnic traditions and encourages ethnic understanding in late April - early May.

    Cinco de Mayo - The Upper Midwest’s largest Latino/Hispanic celebration featuring ethnic foods, live entertainment, kids’ activities, salsa tasting contest and a colorful parade.

    Living Green Expo – Come learn about low impact living!

    Minneapolis & Saint Paul Home Tour - An inspiring celebration of city living.

    Saint Paul Public Schools Student Technology Showcase - Students discuss and demonstrate their technology projects for an audience of district staff, other students, community members, and the media.

    Waterfest - An annual family fun event with many displays and hands-on activities.  Sponsored by the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District.

    Wings of Freedom - Salute to Veterans Air Show, Red Wing, Minnesota.

    Back to the 50's Street Rod Show - Minnesota State Fairgrounds

    Grand Old Day - The Granddaddy of Minnesota Street Fairs!

    Hot Summer Jazz Festival - One of the largest free civic events in the upper Midwest, attracting upwards of 75,000 people.

    Music & Movies in District del Sol - An eight-part outdoor film and music series held in District del Sol every Thursday during the summer. The series starts the last Thursday in June and continues in early August. Bands start at 7:30 PM followed by a film at 9:00 PM. The series is held in Castillo Park on Concord Street near the State/Concord intersection. This year’s movie theme is “Dynamic Duos.”

    Solstice River Dance - A spectacular outdoor performance that brings residents to the river on the summer solstice to celebrate.

    Svenskarnas Dag - One of the biggest Swedish festivals in the United States.  Held on the last Sunday in June at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis.

    Minnesota Scottish Country Fair - Dakota County Fairgrounds

    Rockin' Ribfest - Get Fired Up!

    Schwan's USA Cup - America's premiere youth soccer event at the National Sports Center in Blaine.

    Skate St. Paul - Sponsored by the St. Paul Figure Skating Club.

    Stillwater Lumberjack Days - Concerts, lumberjack shows and musically choreographed fireworks in historic downtown Stillwater.

    Taste of Minnesota - Don't count calories, count on satisfying your appetite and quenching your thirst as you experience the Taste of Minnesota!

    Highland Fest - See a new view of the Mississippi River at an open house at the Ford Lock & Dam. This special open house is offered just once a year, and that's during Highland Fest.

    Irish Fair of Minnesota - A three day celebration of Irish heritage with food, fun and music.  Harriet Island, Saint Paul.

    Loring Park Art Fair - A two day, juried art festival with visual artists displaying orginal artwork, strolling musicians, scheduled stage performances, children's activities and food booths.

    Minnesota Renaissance Festival - Journey back in time at this 16th-century medieval village. Costumed characters represent village life from simple peasants to ornate Royalty. This Minnesota tradition features entertainment, craft shops, food, history and more! Located west of Shakopee on Highway 169.

    Minnesota State Fair - The Great Minnesota Get-Together! The Minnesota State Fair runs the two weeks before Labor Day and is the second largest event of its kind in the U.S.

    Mississippi River Challenge - A two-day, fourty-four mile adventure and friends you have not yet met.

    Powderhorn Park Art Fair - A regional fine art and fine crafts fair.

    Saint Paul Inline Marathon - Saint Paul Mayor Randy Kelly donned inline skates and joined metro area inline skating clubs to announce the Saint Paul Inline Marathon, set for August 21, 2004.

    Uptown Art Fair - Always the first full weekend in August.

    Czech & Slovak Fall Festival - Saint Paul

    Mahkato Wacipi - Annual Pow Wow honoring the 38 Dakota.  Mankato, Minnesota

    Como Park Zoo Boo - Como Park Zoo is transformed into a storybook paradise for this magical event, which provides a fun and safe trick-or-treating experience for young visitors.

    Twin Cities Marathon - As a runner, as a volunteer, or as a spectator, take part in this annual running event which attracts athletes of all ages and abilities.

    TCF Holidazzle Parade - Make it a holiday tradition to bundle up and line the streets of Minneapolis to enjoy the spectacular lighted floats and costumed fairy-tale characters of the TCF Holidazzle parade.
