Just for Kids - Of all the sites providing school data, these folks seem to be making the most progress toward providing relevant data for school improvement. School Data is currently only available for Minnesota elementaries, but what is available is interesting. Comparison Reports show how a school performed compared to the highest-performing schools in the state serving similar or more disadvantaged students. Opportunity Gap Bars show the difference in proficiency levels between the selected school and the top comparable schools; Top Comparable Schools show the actual numbers and percentages used to filter and compare the selected school and comparable schools; and the Multi-Year Summary shows the performance growth or decline over multiple years. Best Practices data is not yet available for Minnesota at all. Check Texas to see how the site works. Training is under construction.
